FOOD AS MEDICINE HEALTH TIPS — TURMERIC
Turmeric has a natural compound (polyphenol) called curcumin, which has both antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Mixing it with black pepper helps our bodies to absorb it, so it can become a healing powerhouse!

GOLDEN MILK TEA
1 cup of your choice milk
1/2 a teaspoon ground turmeric with black pepper
A few shreds of Ginger
Dash of cardamom and cinnamon
Honey to taste
Instructions :
Add your milk, water and spices to a pan and season with black pepper. Whisk well.
Bring to a boil, and then reduce to a simmer for 10 minutes-being careful not to let it burn or bubble over. Mix well and remove from heat.
Allow to cool a little and serve!
