HEALTHY VEGAN CAT TREATS!
Ingredients:
1 1/2 tsp. Ener-G Egg Replacer
(combine with 2Tbsp water)
1 14-oz. can wet vegan cat food
2 tsp olive oil
2 Tbsp water
1 C sprouted, brown rice flour
1/2 C cooked brown rice
1 Tbsp catnip (optional)
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 325°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper and set aside.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the egg replacer, cat food, olive oil, and water. Add the brown rice flour and cooked rice and stir. The mixture will be thick, but you should still be able to spread it out.
Spread the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, creating a rectangle that is about 1/3 inch thick. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
Remove from the oven. Let cool, then slice into bite-size pieces.
Return to the oven and bake for another 8 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely. Store in the fridge. Makes 8 treats.
